CBX400F Integra cowl installation completed version...

Completed installation of CBX400F Integra cowl on HONDA CBX1000. The blinker stay and Yoshimura time meter were shaking badly,so I fixed it. The turn signal can be handled by inserting rubber into the bolt joint and adding one stay. The Yoshimura Temperature Meter is swaying,so we wrapped rubber around the part that is in contact with the frame.

CBX400F Integra cowl installation ~Test run~...

The turn signal stay and the Yoshimura oil temperature gauge stay are shaking so badly that they need to be fixed. Regarding the CBX400F Integra cowl,there seems to be no problems with strange vibration or strength. There seems to be no problem with the steering angle or interference. The motorcycle with the cowl was the best. The way the wind hits is completely different from the naked state.

Change from single horn to double horn...

[Single horn] has been changed to [Double horn]. CBX1000 models CB1 and SC03 are single horns. It's a single horn with a cowl attached to it that seems to be part of the design,but I didn't have a place to attach it,so I changed it to a small car horn.

Rebuilt Turn Signals - CBX1000...

I purchased rebuilt turn signals for my CBX1000. They are new, but I sent them out for painting right away. The CBX1000 has large, round turn signals, while the SC06 and CB series have square ones. The CBX1000 is a beautifully designed motorcycle with a cohesive look. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to attach square turn signals from the CB-F series, given that they are from a similar generation.

CBX400F Integra cowl installation troubles...

Motorcycles with upper cowl or bikini cowl have no gaps. Also,some older models such as the GPZ900R have a gap of about 10cm between the meter and the cowl. There is also a gap in the later model of CBX1000. Ducati's bevel etc. have large gaps. It may be an intentional gap.

CBX400F Integra cowl reinstallation edition...

When I attached it to the CBX1000 fully open,the offset was too large and there was a gap between the CBX1000 meter and the CBX400F cowl. I was referring to the mounting position of rocket cowls such as Ducati's bevel. This is based on Kawasaki's Z1R turn signal installation position and cowl line. The fixing position of the cowl is based on Vedkati's bell.

The ride height of the CBX1000: I want to raise it to secure a greater lean angle....

I’ve raised the ride height of my CBX1000 as much as possible. The reason is that I want to ride a bigger motorcycle and to achieve a greater lean angle. However, that’s not my top priority. Smaller motorcycles are easier to control with body weight. I’ll include some photos to give you an idea of my leg length. Recently, I've noticed that women have been riding racer replica-style 250cc motorcycles, which highlights the remarkable popularity of motorcycles in Japan since around 2018.

GUN125-Transplanted the horn from the new Hilux...

The CBX1000 horn is quite large and heavy,probably because it is part of the design. Since it has been made into a cowl,we will replace the horn with something lighter and smaller. The horn of the Hilux has been changed. I transplanted the normal horn from the Hilux that I had removed.

Clutch plate replacement for the CBX1000....

The size of the collar for the earlier model is 45mm, while the size for the later model is 43.6mm. The springs have slight differences between the early and late models. It should be possible to force the earlier model's parts to work with the later model. The clutch outer differs in shape for the CB1, SC03, and SC06 models. The newer the model, the more improvements have been made. It seems that specialized shops can rebuild or implement improvements for the CB1 and SC03.The friction plates consist of seven disc A's and one disc B. Disc B is larger and is currently out of stock from the manufacturer.

If you have the stay of the later model of CBX1000,SC06,you can install the frame mount cowl fairly easily. Easy to install means easy to remove.
