Changed the FCR acceleration pump diaphragm. Visual inspection is important. Changes in total discharge volume are difficult to understand...

I am trying to replace the FCR standard accelerator pump diaphragm with the Kawasaki KX250 diaphragm. There is a dot in the center of the accelerator pump that suppresses the movement of the accelerator pump diaphragm. As for how much of a change there is, you can feel the change when you see it for the first time.

CBX photo and FCR acceleration pump discharge timing turning...

I rarely ride my bike without thinking about anything. I think it would be more meaningful to make some changes to the FCR before riding the bike. I've gotten into the habit of touching something before I run by myself. I will post a photo from when I took a test run by myself at Yasunohana Station the other day.

FCR Tuning-Acceleration Pump Discharge Timing Adjustment-22/10/12...

The acceleration pumps of the old CBX FCR are attached to numbers 3 and 6. Looking at the range of influence in the tuning manual, it is in 0.6mm increments, but there are individual differences between vehicles and FCRs. Or, the tabs may become strange due to over-adjustment, so it is better to check visually to some extent and use this as a guideline only.

FCR Tuning - Easy way to turn off the acceleration pump...

All you have to do is clip the push rod of the accelerator pump to prevent it from moving. that's all. I will also add a photo, so please check the size and position of the clip. For those using the old CBX FCR, there are two standard carburetors.

FCR tuning - Acceleration pump adjustment - If it is too fast, it will hit the throttle valve....

Write down what will hit you first. I found a case the other day, where the fuel injection from the FCR's accelerator pump hit the throttle valve. The fuel is not being sucked into the engine, but is instead hitting a door called the throttle valve.

FCR turning-all changes-22/07/09...

The theory of FCR turning is AB testing, one step forward, two steps back! After about a month of trying various things, I decided to completely change the turning. Rather than ignoring the theory, this is the first step in tuning it up. I've tried a lot of things and have a good history, so I changed everything in one go and started over.

Test run - Throttle opening 1/2 - MJ change - 22/07/08...

This is about the CBX FCR turning. I wrote about the results after replacing the MJ in my previous post, but I'll write about my impressions after a test run. I value test runs, but if you have an air-fuel ratio meter installed, you may get caught up in the numbers, so I try to be careful.

FCR-tuning-MJ and JN influence-22/07/08...

In the previous blogs, I was a little worried because when I started suddenly, there was a bump at about 1/2 throttle opening. The cause was the combination of the MJ main jet and JN slow jet. The reason for the judgment was that if the MJ was extremely lowered, it would not go away, but there would be a change.
