FCR tunings - all changes - 2022-07-09...

The theory of FCR turning is AB testing,one step forward,two steps back! After about a month of trying various things,I decided to completely change the turning. Rather than ignoring the theory,this is the first step in tuning it up. I've tried a lot of things and have a good history,so I changed everything in one go and started over.

Test run - Throttle opening 1/2 - MJ change - 2022-07-08...

This is about the CBX1000 FCR turning. I wrote about the results after replacing the MJ in my previous post,but I'll write about my impressions after a test run. I value test runs,but if you have an air-fuel ratio meter installed,you may get caught up in the numbers,so I try to be careful.

FCR - tuning - MJ and JN influence - 2022-07-08...

In the previous blogs,I was a little worried because when I started suddenly,there was a bump at about 1/2 throttle opening. The cause was the combination of the MJ main jet and JN slow jet. The reason for the judgment was that if the MJ was extremely lowered,it would not go away,but there would be a change.

FCR tuning-Change Accelerator Pump diaphragm and test run...

I did a test run for about an hour during lunch time. My goal is to change the Accelerator Pump's diaphragm from the standard size to the small size,and see if the bumpiness that occurs when the throttle opens suddenly around 1/2 will be resolved. As a result,I feel like there has been some change,but it's unclear. Try widening the link lever plate and slowing it down as much as possible to see how the Accelerator Pump starts to work.

FCR tuning - Acceleration pump adjustment - 2022-07-06...

Since I had time to touch the motorcycle,I adjusted the FCR's Acceleration pump diaphragm. Even though it is an adjustment,it is just a matter of replacing the diaphragm. FCR's acceleration pump is an obscure and incomplete device. It is an unusual device that cannot be called precision like jets.

FCR - Test run with acceleration pump adjustment - 2022-06-09...

I posted an article about replacing the diaphragm of the accelerator pump of CBX1000's 6-unit FCR. I will post a blog post about it as a history of my test drive. I will write the conclusion or results first. It's better after the change. Is it better to turn down the accelerator pump a little in the summer? That's what I thought.

FCR - Adjust the diaphragm of the accelerator pump...

My CBX1000 is FCR specification. There are two accelerator pumps and two throttle wires. This time,we replaced the standard diaphragm of the accelerator pump with a diaphragm for KX250. By replacing the diaphragm,the overall discharge volume of the accelerator pump will change. There are many ways to adjust the accelerator pump.
