I had time, so I did some synchronization work on the CBX's FCR carburetor. If you play around with the idling stop screw, you will notice a difference between the carburetors in groups 1, 2, and 3 and the carburetors in groups 4, 5, and 6, which is a concern. Recently, I have been focusing on setting the throttle to a low opening.

FCR Tuning - Adjust and synchronize air screw and pilot screw - 22/10/27...

I tightened the pilot screw from fully open. I feel that there is no problem with rich when the throttle opening is slightly opened from fully closed, but too rich is not a pleasant feeling, so when the engine is warm, the air-fuel ratio should not exceed 13.0. I'm about to cut it.

FCR Tuning - Change slow jet from 40 to 42 - 22/10/08...

The other day, I changed the slow jet from 42 to 40. However, it seemed like we were reaching the limit of returning the PS, so we changed it from 40 to 42 again. For me, the boom now is to keep the air-fuel ratio at 12.5 to 13.0 when idling with the throttle fully closed. It feels like the ride becomes milder, which is good.

FCR Tuning - Synchronization -22/10/03...

When I went touring the other day, I touched the AS air screw, PS pilot screw, and idling stop screw, so I thought that the synchronization might be loose, so I made time to do it from 17:00 to 18:00. I synchronized while being careful not to be unable to work due to sunset.

FCR Tuning - Re-synchronize and then adjust AS22/10/01...

I checked synchronization by touching it only with the throttle stop screw. I put the AS air screw back in for 5 minutes. I opened and closed the PS pilot screw for 15 minutes and checked the changes. There was a change in the startability of the engine, but as a result, I haven't made any changes since before I touched it. I did some light work on various things.

Adjust the balance of the multi-vacuum gauge...

CBX is a 6-cylinder multi-engine. You will need to synchronize the carburetor. The other day, I adjusted the balance of the vacuum gauge for the first time in a while. This time we'll be talking about multi-vacuum gauges for motorcycles. I don't know if it's for cars. Balance adjustment is to align the needles of each meter of the vacuum gauge uniformly. Whether or not the actual negative pressure can be measured accurately is another matter.

Since I changed the FCR-SJ, I checked the startability and touched the PS - 22/09/28...

There are various resets to ensure a comfortable ride. Generally, after changing the SJ, there are many work items as it involves attaching and detaching the cab. ① Adjust the tension of the throttle wire. ②Adjust the PS so that the engine can start. ③Temporarily adjust AS. ④Adjust the idling. ⑤Synchronize. ⑥Take a test run and adjust AS. Adjust the above by going forward and backward through steps 1-6.

FCR tuning - Change and synchronize SJ and MJ 22/09/27...

About MJ main jet. When I looked at the air-fuel ratio meter, I noticed that it would be better if I made it even slightly lighter. It may not make much sense, but I changed MJ by one step from 128 to 125. This is the season when fuel becomes richer as we approach winter. There is no problem even if you shake it a little thin.

FCR-tuning SJ and MJ change 22/08/15...

With SJ45, I felt like the screw was opening too much, so I changed it to 42. I chose 42 because I wanted to make fine-tuned tuning, but 40 might be the perfect range for all year round. I feel a little regretful that it might not be necessary to make it look strangely deviate from Bito's initial tuning.

FCR-JN clip stage number change - 2nd time today - 22/07/27...

JNを触り始めて長かったです。最初FCRを触り始めた時はテーパー角と切り上がりは触らない範囲で楽しめればなと考えていました。1度触ってしまえば、理屈も随分と分かったつもりになれました。現代では空燃比計があるから少しはましですけど、昔であればカスタムショップでノウハウを持っていたりジェット類を一通り揃えている状態でないとセッティングは難しい状況でした。
