I tightened the pilot screw from fully open. I feel that there is no problem with rich when the throttle opening is slightly opened from fully closed, but too rich is not a pleasant feeling, so when the engine is warm, the air-fuel ratio should not exceed 13.0. I'm about to cut it.

My CBX1000 has a two-pronged throttle wire. There are two idling stop screws. Changing the idling will cause a slight loss of synchronization. It's only numbers 1 and 6, but I'm adjusting the idling stop screw while checking with the vacuum gauge.

When I did a test run the other day, I was a little concerned about the low throttle opening. The slow jet was set to 42 based on the time of BITO shipment. Perhaps it was because of the delayed discharge timing of the accelerator pump or because of the season, there were parts where the power was weak when starting from a fully closed throttle, and the air-fuel ratio was briefly lean, so it wasn't very pleasant. So I changed the slow jet from 42 to 48.

FCR Tuning - Change slow jet from 40 to 42 - 22/10/08...

The other day, I changed the slow jet from 42 to 40. However, it seemed like we were reaching the limit of returning the PS, so we changed it from 40 to 42 again. For me, the boom now is to keep the air-fuel ratio at 12.5 to 13.0 when idling with the throttle fully closed. It feels like the ride becomes milder, which is good.

I checked synchronization by touching it only with the throttle stop screw. I put the AS air screw back in for 5 minutes. I opened and closed the PS pilot screw for 15 minutes and checked the changes. There was a change in the startability of the engine, but as a result, I haven't made any changes since before I touched it. I did some light work on various things.

I did a test run on the mountain road from 5pm. I changed my SJ the other day. The AS adjustment, PS adjustment, and idling adjustment will be done the next day, so I'll check the startability when it's cold. ① Set the AS to a slightly richer position. ② Set the PS back by 1.00 minutes. ③ Open the PS for about 15 minutes at a time. ④ Open the PS to a point where it is easy to maintain idling and it is finished. In the case of CBX, I have never had a problem with driving because the PS was opened too much and it was too rich, but I start from a lean PS and then richen it.
