This article contains useful information for beginners of FCR. This is written on the assumption that there are few tools and jets in addition to the settings. The notation is 15 minutes back = 90 degrees back on the clock.

FCR setting-Jet needle replacement-Up change-22/11/08...

This is the FCR setting. Current jet needles have a special thread count that sharpens up. It should be 90FXM#3=90FTM#1. I haven't tried it, so I don't know, but it should probably be the same. I'll check it out when I have some free time.

FCR Tuning - Tuning throttle opening from 1/16 to 1/8 - 22/11/06...

Regarding the current FCR tuning of CBX, I was concerned about the lower throttle opening. It's not a good idea to get caught up in the air-fuel ratio meter, but a partial reading of 10.5 is around throttle opening of 1/16 to 1/8. It is unclear whether this condition is good or bad.

You can enjoy changes in the driving feeling that cannot be seen only with lean or rich FCR influence range. When you wear an air-fuel ratio meter, you tend to look at the numbers and judge whether it's lean or rich.Considering the characteristics of engine revving, etc., there are some areas that are difficult to show in the numerical values. Simply put, you can change the number of clip stages one by one and try the number of stages that gives you the driving feeling you like.

I had time, so I did some synchronization work on the CBX's FCR carburetor. If you play around with the idling stop screw, you will notice a difference between the carburetors in groups 1, 2, and 3 and the carburetors in groups 4, 5, and 6, which is a concern. Recently, I have been focusing on setting the throttle to a low opening.

This is a post about the FCR setting of CBX. The other day, I adjusted the air screw while watching the idling with a digital tachometer. I didn't tighten the pilot screw to rich or lean, and I didn't return the air screw for about 15 minutes after the maximum opening.

Changed the FCR acceleration pump diaphragm. Visual inspection is important. Changes in total discharge volume are difficult to understand...

I am trying to replace the FCR standard accelerator pump diaphragm with the Kawasaki KX250 diaphragm. There is a dot in the center of the accelerator pump that suppresses the movement of the accelerator pump diaphragm. As for how much of a change there is, you can feel the change when you see it for the first time.

FCR Tuning - Apply filter oil to the ram air filter at the end...

This is not a story limited to FCR. While setting up FCR, I often test drive with funnel specifications. The reason is that it is a hassle to attach and detach the ram air filter when turning the air screw. Although it is a ram air filter, even if it is installed and driven with oil applied, it will not affect the settings much.

I tightened the pilot screw from fully open. I feel that there is no problem with rich when the throttle opening is slightly opened from fully closed, but too rich is not a pleasant feeling, so when the engine is warm, the air-fuel ratio should not exceed 13.0. I'm about to cut it.

FCR Tuning-Test run and screw adjustment-22/10/25...

My CBX1000 has a two-pronged throttle wire. There are two idling stop screws. Changing the idling will cause a slight loss of synchronization. It's only numbers 1 and 6, but I'm adjusting the idling stop screw while checking with the vacuum gauge.
