FCR tuning-Carburetor synchronization work-22/11/02...

I had time,so I did some synchronization work on the CBX1000's FCR carburetor. If you play around with the idling stop screw,you will notice a difference between the carburetors in groups 1,2,and 3 and the carburetors in groups 4,5,and 6,which is a concern. Recently,I have been focusing on tuning the throttle to a low opening.

When I went touring the other day,I touched the AS air screw,PS pilot screw,and idling stop screw,so I thought that the synchronization might be loose,so I made time to do it from 17:00 to 18:00. I synchronized while being careful not to be unable to work due to sunset.

Adjust the balance of the multi-vacuum gauge...

CBX1000 is a 6-cylinder multi-engine. You will need to synchronize the carburetor. The other day,I adjusted the balance of the vacuum gauge for the first time in a while. This time we'll be talking about multi-vacuum gauges for motorcycles. I don't know if it's for cars. Balance adjustment is to align the needles of each meter of the vacuum gauge uniformly. Whether or not the actual negative pressure can be measured accurately is another matter.

FCR tuning - Change and synchronize SJ and MJ 22/09/27...

About MJ main jet. When I looked at the air-fuel ratio meter,I noticed that it would be better if I made it even slightly lighter. It may not make much sense,but I changed MJ by one step from 128 to 125. This is the season when fuel becomes richer as we approach winter. There is no problem even if you shake it a little thin.

CBX1000 FCR turning. I adjusted the AS air screw and the PS pilot screw. As I wrote in another article,my current opinion is that there are no surprising changes in PS and AS for each cylinder in the CBX1000.

The suction force for each cylinder is slightly different,but even if you just match it with the taper gauge,the synchronization is good. Although it is far from perfect,there are two points below: (1) The engine does not idle at high speeds when it warms up. ② The tachometer returns extremely poorly when racing.

FCR-6-synchronization-balanced pipe...

There are three ignition coils in the CBX1000. Why are there three cylinders even though it has six cylinders? Nos. 1 and 6 are fired at the same time. Light 2 and 5 at the same time. This is because No. 3 and No. 4 are lit at the same time.If you write what you want to write early,the balance pipe connections are number 1 and number 6. No. 2 and No. 5. Connect No. 3 and No. 4. The engine firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4.
