I replaced the horn on my Hilux to get a smaller horn.
The CBX1000 horn is quite large and heavy, probably because it is part of the design. Since it has been made into a cowl, we will replace the horn with something lighter and smaller. I replaced the horn on my Hilux.
I decided to replace the horn on the Hilux and install the remaining genuine horn on the CBX1000.

I got a European horn that is said to be vehicle inspection compatible. I'm not particularly particular about this kind of customization, so I ordered a cheap one.

Press the center of the plastic bolt to remove it. Even if you break it, you can purchase it at a car parts store.

The Hilux horn has a negative terminal connected to the body ground, so the aftermarket horn must be wired to match the ground wire.
Hilux genuine horn requires additional negative terminal. I won't be able to wire and install the horn to the CBX1000 this time, so I'll do it next time.

Now that I've got the item I was looking for, I'll start processing the wiring. Basically, I buy connectors and make them by hand.
The body ground will be tightened together with the horn fixing bolt.
The only tools needed other than making the wiring are the 12 wrenches. The work takes less than an hour at a leisurely pace. I also added AdBlue. The horn is an invisible part, but when used somewhere, it makes a slightly cooler sound than the stock horn. Actually, the sound of the Hilux's horn is a little too cute, isn't it?

The other purpose is to get a horn for transplantation. By the way, here are the rules when making your own wiring:
Please make sure that the positive side of the bullet is female and the cover is attached. This reduces the risk of a short circuit even if the terminal accidentally comes off and comes into contact with the body. Many people are not good at wiring, but if you learn how to make bullets, you can expand your experience with motorcycles.
Also, the concept of body earthing and the 4-pole relay are just a little bit of knowledge, so if you keep them in your knowledge, you will definitely be happy. There are cases where it is easier to write dramatically using a relay, and there are cases where a relay is required due to the current capacity. Wiring does not require heavy objects or expensive tools, so it is very suitable for those who want to DIY their motorcycles.
The installation of the cowl on the CBX400F Integra is not progressing.
All that remains is installing the horn, moving additional devices such as ETC, and installing the turn signals.
Once this is done and the test run is complete, replace the bolt with a clean cosmetic bolt.
We are also considering replacing the clutch with CBX1000's SC06.
