The throttle opening and throttle valve opening of the FCR carburetor are not directly proportional.
Even when the throttle is opened to 1/2 on an FCR, the throttle valve on the FCR does not open to 1/2. This is not specifically mentioned in the FCR tuning manual. Knowing this might change your perspective on the operation of the FCR throttle. At 1/2 throttle opening, the throttle valve is typically open only about 1/4.
With the quick turn throttle housing, you can set the throttle free play to 0mm!
When installing a quick turn throttle, one feature that is not present in a standard throttle housing is the throttle stop screw function. Although it might sound elaborate, it is simply a screw hole that has been cut. It is a bolt used to adjust the minimum return position of the throttle.

FCR Tuning – Testing 6 Variations of Accelerator Pump Diaphragm – 2023-08-22
One of the highlights of FCR carburetors is the accelerator pump. This time, instead of making just minor adjustments, I performed tuning with all the diaphragms I have on the same day. The accelerator pump diaphragms tested were Standard, KLX250, and KLX400, with discharge timings of 1.0mm and 0.5mm, resulting in a total of 6 different patterns.

Installing the cowl on CBX1000 is not difficult.
I received a question about installing a cowl on the CBX1000,so I will write about it in a column-like manner. Bikini cowls can be easily installed on almost any naked bike. Let's move on with the subject being a frame-mounted cowl.
I love CBX1000’s painted accessories.
This story uses photos taken at a rental garage. My CBX1000 has a repainted exterior. We also store the normal exterior separately.

FCR carburetor tuning – test run on the expressway and Kizuna Stadium in Iwakuni
I have been told that a Saturday Night meeting will be held at Kizuna Stadium in Iwakuni from 19:00 on October 22,2022. Along the way,I also tried driving the FCR while checking various air-fuel ratio gauges and paying close attention to the effectiveness of the accelerator pump.
FCR – Test run on the expressway – Check the condition of the main jet
The speed is within the legal speed limit. Fully open the throttle while looking at the gears like 3rd,4th,and 5th. CBX1000 is a motorcycle with up to 5 speeds. 3rd and 4th gears provide peaky acceleration. When you shift to 5th gear,it won't accelerate comfortably until you get up to a certain speed,but it feels like it will gradually increase the top speed and accelerate.

I wanted to eat curry for lunch,so I went for a light FCR test run. With my ability,I can't decide on a good screw position in one go,so I just do test runs and try different screw positions from rich to lean.

Judging from the packaging of the box, is it the same as the CRS carburetor? The illustration shows the CRS carburetor, not the FCR.
Buying a CBX1000 FCR – How to tune for the first time
Many people want to install a racing carburetor on the CBX1000. In Japan,the options are the BITO FCR or CRS carburetor. It seems that TMR can also be made to order,but it is not common. If I were to buy one,I would choose the FCR.

I write about FCR carburetors all year round, but this time I will cover the differences between fuel injection and carburetors. While I can’t go into great detail, I’ll provide a rough overview. For those unfamiliar, this might serve as a small topic for tomorrow’s ride. To get straight to the point: fuel injection is simply outstanding.

FCR tuning – Acceleration pump adjustment – If it is too fast, it will hit the throttle valve.
Write down what will hit you first. I found a case the other day,where the fuel injection from the FCR's accelerator pump hit the throttle valve. The fuel is not being sucked into the engine,but is instead hitting a door called the throttle valve.

This is my CBX1000 photo gallery.
The cowl is attached to the CBX400F Integra upper cowl using the [CBX] SC06 stay.
It can be changed to a naked specification instead of a cowl installation that cannot be reversed.
The matte black exterior has been changed to glossy black, including the meter, turn signal side cover, and rear fender. Added lines to the front fender.
