FCR fuel filter

This is a story about the fuel filter used in FCR. I would like to introduce you to the fuel filter that I use. Basically,most of the cases are actual cases at CBX1000. In fact,I don't know what kind of cases will occur with other vehicles.

Beautiful photos - at the motorcycle exhibition hall...

I’m taking photos at the storage location for my CBX1000. These pictures are taken at the display area of the rental garage. The lighting from the fluorescent lamps and direct sunlight seems to be ideal, as the polished and chrome parts, as well as the gloss black painted parts, reflect beautifully. This creates a feel of the bike being newer than it actually is, which is very gratifying.

My CBX1000 has a repainted exterior. We also have another set with the original exterior. There are dimples and fading. It's not rusty or rotten,and I don't know if it's in good or bad condition. I ordered a separate line to be added when I repainted it and am currently doing so.

FCR Tuning - Slow jet changed from 48 to 55 - 2022-05-23...

Changed FCR's SJ slow jet. The number has been changed from SJ-48 to SJ-55. The intention is to bring the fixed AS to around 1.0 to 1.30 minutes by reversing P1.15 minutes. I've put #52 in SJ,so I'm predicting that unless I put in at least #55,AS won't be around 1.30 minutes back,so I'm raising the number all at once.

Heading to Hattendo Village in Mihara City,Hiroshima Prefecture for a test run of the FCR....

The other day,I replaced my MJ,so I went on a solo tour on the expressway to Hattendo Village,which also served as a test run of the FCR. Hattendo is famous for its cream bread. The facility itself seems to be kept well-maintained,and the staff seemed to be responding well. If you have a flight passing by nearby,Sehito is a facility worth stopping by at least once.

About engine overhaul of CBX1000...

The popularity was split between the 70s and 80s, and currently the Z series has a larger market share, but I'll write about the differences. The main difference between the CB-F and Z series engines is the number of valves. The Z series has two valves, while the CB-F series has four. Putting aside the things that are not immediately accessible or visible, such as a strong engine or powerful output, it all comes down to this one point.

Replace the headlight bulb with an LED and switch the headlight to a multi-reflector....

I have installed an LED headlight and a multi-reflector on my CBX1000. Currently, in Japan, yellow lights and headlight on/off switches are prohibited. When choosing LED lights and multi-reflectors, please ensure they are compliant with vehicle inspection standards. The issue is not the brightness, but rather the upper limit of the light beam's alignment, or the cut-off line.

Jet needle clip change - 2022-05-18...

I was concerned about the blowout being about 1/2,so I changed the number of clip stages. The current FCR jet needle is 90FTR #2,and I was planning to touch the AS air screw from time to time. The vacuum gauge uses two Daytona 4-gauges to create a CBX1000-spec 6-gauge.

Scope of influence of FCR's MJ main jet...

I try to keep it between 11.5 and 13.5 during acceleration,and aim for 12.5 to 13.0 as much as possible. I try not to worry about it even if I get into 11 in a partial. I prioritize the experience and try not to worry about the air-fuel ratio even if it reaches a very extreme value.

Photo of a CBX1000 - taken at Bayside Beach, Hiroshima Prefecture, on 2021-01-10....

I took some photos of my CBX1000 right after it was renewed. In these photos, the brake system has been upgraded from the standard setup to Brembo parts. The front forks have been re-chromed, and the springs replaced with Hyperpro ones. The bike’s current specs differ a bit from what you see here. This time, I'm just sharing the photos.
