FCR tuning-Change Accelerator Pump diaphragm and test run...

I did a test run for about an hour during lunch time. My goal is to change the Accelerator Pump's diaphragm from the standard size to the small size,and see if the bumpiness that occurs when the throttle opens suddenly around 1/2 will be resolved. As a result,I feel like there has been some change,but it's unclear. Try widening the link lever plate and slowing it down as much as possible to see how the Accelerator Pump starts to work.

FCR tuning - Acceleration pump adjustment - 2022-07-06...

Since I had time to touch the motorcycle,I adjusted the FCR's Acceleration pump diaphragm. Even though it is an adjustment,it is just a matter of replacing the diaphragm. FCR's acceleration pump is an obscure and incomplete device. It is an unusual device that cannot be called precision like jets.

Is a quick turn throttle necessary for FCR?...

This is a story that always comes up when converting an old motorcycle into a racing carburetor. Since racing carburetors are intended for full-throttle driving on circuits,it is best to install a quick turn throttle. Depending on the purpose of use,there may be exceptional reasons not to install quick turn throttle,although it varies case by case.

FCR tuning - Lean slow jet - Changed from 48 to 40 - 2022-07-03...

This article is just about replacing FCR's SJ slow jet. Due to rain in the forecast,I decided not to do a test run and just replaced the SJ. SJ-48→SJ-40Actually,42 is probably better since it is the default value,but I want to verify the difference myself,so I replaced it with SJ,which is the lowest value than 42.

FCR-tuning - With Boko - 2022-07-02...

While cruising,when I suddenly open the throttle from 1/8 to 1/4 or 1/2,I have a problem where it hits me,or the air-fuel ratio drops to 10.1. I couldn't adjust the PS pilot screw while the engine was running,so I tried various things.

CBX1000 FCR turning. I adjusted the AS air screw and the PS pilot screw. As I wrote in another article,my current opinion is that there are no surprising changes in PS and AS for each cylinder in the CBX1000.

Verifying the impact of CBX1000 PS...

This is a blog post where I tried restoring the PS of CBX1000's FCR. PS is active when idling. It works at least at rotation speeds of 1300RPM-1500RPM. It may be that after a certain level of concentration (returning the PS) there will be almost no effect.

pilot screw adjusting tool processing...

pilot screw adjusting tool. One of the things I always worry about when using a CBX1000 is how to turn the pilot screw. I've tried about 3 pilot screw adjusting tool so far,but I haven't been able to find the perfect one.
