FCR-screw adjustment and AS Uotani SP2 dial tuning 22/0729...

I looked at the cold startability of the engine and tried adjusting AS and PS. I had already decided on the general tuning the other day,so I didn't have to spend any particular time on it,so it was more of a confirmation process. I feel that it is better to open the PS for starting performance. I tried tightening and opening it,but in the end I left it at the default tuning and moved the idle stop screw a little higher.

FCR tuning - AS and PS adjustment during test run22/07/28...

If you try to improve the starting performance,the PS will tend to open. Since it is a racing cab,you may not need to worry too much. Either way,I currently prefer a richer shade,so I'll see how it goes tomorrow morning. I'm thinking about various things,such as tightening the PS a little more and raising the stop screw a little.

FCR-JN clip stage number change - 2nd time today - 22/07/27...

JNを触り始めて長かったです。最初FCRを触り始めた時はテーパー角と切り上がりは触らない範囲で楽しめればなと考えていました。1度触ってしまえば、理屈も随分と分かったつもりになれました。現代では空燃比計があるから少しはましですけど、昔であればカスタムショップでノウハウを持っていたりジェット類を一通り揃えている状態でないとセッティングは難しい状況でした。

FCR-Test run-Mesh jacket is pretty good22/07/27...

It's a cool mesh jacket when you look at it alone,but I feel like it doesn't go well with the CBX1000. It may be suitable for bright tricolor replicas such as NSR. Since I have already purchased it,I will be spending the summer with a mesh jacket for the time being.

FCR tuning-PS pilot screw changes22/07/25...

The other day,I found out the scope of responsibility for PS Pilot Screw! That's what I was feeling,so I went for a test drive and checked the air-fuel ratio while turning the PS. About the throttle opening - It's around 15 when fully closed and around 12.5 when it's around 1/16-1/8. Is around ①14 good when fully closed and idling? ②Is around 12.5 good? That's the idea.

Comparison of idle port and slow port of FCR carburetor...

I hadn't been aware of it until now,but this is a story that makes me feel like I understand the difference in air-fuel ratio between the idle port and the slow port. There was an incident where I was able to see the difference between fully closing the throttle and opening it slightly to about 1/16,so I will write about it. I hate driving in the rain. Working motorcycles and commuting motorcycles,including Cubs. Even large motorcycles shipped from the manufacturer are driven in the rain. Such motorcycles do not have any problems. After thinking about it for a while,I realized something.

FCR tuning - Use BITO's default jet needle. I did a test drive with a higher cut-off....

I purchased a slightly special needle,90FXM,from BITO. What's special about it is that it's a count that doesn't see many upswings. In fact,it is not in the standard stock lineup. This is the needle attached to the current initial turning of BITO's CBX1000 FCR.

Comparison of FCR-jet needle cut-up. Let's take a look at the thickness of the small standard 90FXM and 90FTM....

I received the JN Jet Needle 90FXM from BITO. I have JN on hand with different tapers and different cut ups. I feel more and more like I'm buying it for experimenting rather than tuning it up.

tuning of FCR - If the small jet needle is F taper,you cannot choose the cut-up. Round up comparison...

I can't help but feel like the large is basically telling you not to use anything other than the E taper. Small has more overall numbers than large,but [E] taper still has more options. With F-taper,you cannot choose the cut-up unless you order it in units of 20 pieces.
