FCR tuning - Lean slow jet - Changed from 48 to 40 - 2022-07-03...

This article is just about replacing FCR's SJ slow jet. Due to rain in the forecast,I decided not to do a test run and just replaced the SJ. SJ-48→SJ-40Actually,42 is probably better since it is the default value,but I want to verify the difference myself,so I replaced it with SJ,which is the lowest value than 42.

Verifying the impact of CBX1000 PS...

This is a blog post where I tried restoring the PS of CBX1000's FCR. PS is active when idling. It works at least at rotation speeds of 1300RPM-1500RPM.It may be that after a certain level of concentration (returning the PS) there will be almost no effect.

FCR-Drain bolt O-ring replacement...

Drain bolt O-ring replacement for FCR33 pie. It was leaking gasoline,so I replaced it immediately. The symptoms did not improve even after replacing the chamber gasket,so I fixed it by replacing the O-ring on the drain bolt.

FCR - Synchronization - Taper Gauge...

The suction force for each cylinder is slightly different,but even if you just match it with the taper gauge,the synchronization is good. Although it is far from perfect,there are two points below: (1) The engine does not idle at high speeds when it warms up. (2) The tachometer returns extremely poorly when racing.

FCR-tuning luggage minimum...

This is the item I brought out for the FCR tuning of CBX1000. Do not carry excessive tools for unexpected situations,such as diaphragms and bolts for the main jet and accelerator pump,and clips for the jet needle. It fits in a small tool box. It's for storage,so it's not very strong,but I bought it at a 100 yen shop.

AS Uotani SP2-gap adjustment and iridium plug...

AS Uotani's SP2 has instructions to adjust the plug gap to 1.1-1.3mm. I've had some doubts about that. Is the same true for iridium plugs? This was a while ago,but I would like to write about the results of a phone call I made to AS Uotani.
