CBX1000 photo and FCR acceleration pump discharge timing turning...

I rarely ride my bike without thinking about anything. I think it would be more meaningful to make some changes to the FCR before riding the bike. I've gotten into the habit of touching something before I run by myself. I will post a photo from when I took a test run by myself at Yasunohana Station the other day.

FCR tuning - jet needle clip stage number change - 2022-10-16...

CBX1000 FCR tuning. Even though I say I will tune it,I am very satisfied with the current situation,so I am changing it for the sake of knowledge. The number of clip stages has been changed from [2] to [3]. Very good. The number of clip stages will be set to [3] for the time being. If you change the number of clip stages from season to season or over time,you will often find that the ride quality of your motorcycle changes significantly and becomes better.

FCR Tuning - Acceleration Pump Discharge Timing Adjustment - 2022-10-12...

The acceleration pumps of the old CBX1000 FCR are attached to numbers 3 and 6. Looking at the range of influence in the tuning manual,it is in 0.6mm increments,but there are individual differences between vehicles and FCRs. Or,the tabs may become strange due to over-adjustment,so it is better to check visually to some extent and use this as a guideline only.

I did a test run of FCR tuning and took pictures of the rear area.If anything,the story is mainly about the test run.It's around 13 when idling,and I cut it down to about 12 with partial throttle pening.

FCR Tuning - Change slow jet from 40 to 42 - 2022-10-08...

The other day,I changed the slow jet from 42 to 40. However,it seemed like we were reaching the limit of returning the PS,so we changed it from 40 to 42 again. For me,the boom now is to keep the air-fuel ratio at 12.5 to 13.0 when idling with the throttle fully closed. It feels like the ride becomes milder,which is good.

All you have to do is clip the push rod of the accelerator pump to prevent it from moving. I will also add a photo,so please check the size and position of the clip. For those using the old CBX1000 FCR,there are two carburetors.

When I went touring the other day,I touched the AS air screw,PS pilot screw,and idling stop screw,so I thought that the synchronization might be loose,so I made time to do it from 17:00 to 18:00. I synchronized while being careful not to be unable to work due to sunset.

FCR Tuning - Test run after changing MJ main jet...

I drove on the expressway. Speaking of expressways,for those who regularly tune FCRs,there is only one thing to do. Check MJ main jet. Driving at full throttle. In terms of throttle opening,the range of MJ influence is from fully open to close to fully open. The CBX1000 has up to 5 gears.

FCR Tuning - Adjusting the Air Screw After Carburetor Synchronization - 2022-10-01...

I checked synchronization by touching it only with the throttle stop screw. I put the AS air screw back in for 5 minutes. I opened and closed the PS pilot screw for 15 minutes and checked the changes. There was a change in the startability of the engine,but as a result,I haven't made any changes since before I touched it. I did some light work on various things.
