FCR Tuning - Changed SJ from 38 to 40. PS pilot screw adjustment - 2022-09-28...

① Set the AS to a slightly richer position. ② Set the PS back by 1.00 minutes. ③ Open the PS for about 15 minutes at a time. ④ Open the PS to a point where it is easy to maintain idling and it is finished. In the case of CBX1000,I have never had a problem with driving because the PS was opened too much and it was too rich,but I start from a lean PS and then richen it.

Since I changed the FCR - SJ, I checked the startability and touched the PS - 2022-09-28...

There are various resets to ensure a comfortable ride. Generally,after changing the SJ,there are many work items as it involves attaching and detaching the cab. ① Adjust the tension of the throttle wire. ②Adjust the PS so that the engine can start. ③Temporarily adjust AS. ④Adjust the idling. ⑤Synchronize. ⑥Take a test run and adjust AS. Adjust the above by going forward and backward through steps 1-6.

About MJ main jet. When I looked at the air-fuel ratio meter,I noticed that it would be better if I made it even slightly lighter. It may not make much sense,but I changed MJ by one step from 128 to 125. This is the season when fuel becomes richer as we approach winter. There is no problem even if you shake it a little thin.

The speed is within the legal speed limit. Fully open the throttle while looking at the gears like 3rd,4th,and 5th. CBX1000 is a motorcycle with up to 5 speeds. 3rd and 4th gears provide peaky acceleration. When you shift to 5th gear,it won't accelerate comfortably until you get up to a certain speed,but it feels like it will gradually increase the top speed and accelerate.

The weight of troubleshooting is completely different when you drive with the expectation that trouble will occur in your local area,and when you go far and cause trouble. Basically,no matter what kind of work you do,whether it's changing a tire or anything else,replacing something means that your car will go from being running well to not being able to run,even temporarily. Maintenance is about changing your body from a state where you can't run to a state where you can run better than before,or a state where your endurance is higher than before.

The best thing about installing the cowl is the change in driving.I have written that there are three things,but the change in driving is the most important and main thing.I also had a lot of fun chatting with riders who like cowls.

FCR tuning - Considering the seasons of summer and winter when touching AS and PS - 2022-09-17...

Adjustment of AS air screw. I haven't touched FCR for a while,so I need to be a little more conscious of the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. What is especially good about SJ? What level of AS is appropriate? I hope I can find it on my own.

Do you have the parts list,service manual,electrical diagram,and FCR tuning manual?...

I have written a case where I lent the CBX1000 parts list to an acquaintance. At that time,I also lent them the service manual,power distribution diagram,and FCR tuning manual. I wouldn't say it's essential when doing DIY,but it doesn't hurt to have it on hand and read it carefully for knowledge.

Naked style - CBX1000 looks cooler without a cowl...

I posted a naked style photo from a few years ago that came out. I once again felt that the design of the CBX1000 really suits the naked-style round headlights. When it comes to riding,a motorcycle with a cowl is definitely easier to ride.
